Too often the savings and process for achieving the same on grocery purchases are over simplified. It takes time and planning to save money and it takes a weekly commitment to save significantly.<br /><br />The author of this blog is conducting an experiment to see what he may save through coupon usage. With his biases he is trying to discover whether overall savings can be achieved by the average Joe or Joan through moderate coupon usage.<br /><br />Most people simply do not have the time and knowledge to save significantly at the grocery store. With thousands of products and weekly prices to track plus coupons (newspapers, online, store shelves, packages and so on it) it takes a subtancial commitment not found in many consumers to harvest the savings bragged about on many websites.<br /><br />Yes, there are websites that will handle some of the tasks for you but still the commitment to use these must be there. If you are paying for the service you had better use it or you end up spending even more for your groceries. A FREE service like <a href="http://groceryguide.com">GroceryGuide.com</a> meets the needs of the causual and the dedicated shoppers.
